Supercrop ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Supercrop mobile application and web platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our service.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. This information is stored securely via our authentication provider (Supabase) and is linked to your identity.
Farm & Agricultural Data
You may provide farm-related data including facility locations, zone boundaries, crop plantings, soil and plant sap test results, zone events, and product inventories. This data is stored in our database and is only accessible to members of your organisation.
Chat & AI Interaction Data
When you use the AI chat feature, your messages and selected context (files, zones) are sent to third-party AI services for processing. Chat history is stored to provide conversation continuity.
Crash & Performance Data
We collect anonymous crash reports and performance diagnostics via Sentry to improve app stability. This data is not linked to your identity.
Location Data
Facility and zone coordinates are stored to display maps. Map tiles are loaded from Mapbox. We do not track your real-time device location.
2. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data:
- Supabase— Authentication and database hosting
- Anthropic (Claude)— AI chat and analysis generation
- OpenAI— AI analysis and embeddings
- Mapbox— Map rendering
- Sentry— Error tracking and performance monitoring
- Pinecone— Knowledge base vector search
- Vercel— Web application hosting

3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain the Supercrop service
- To authenticate your identity and manage your account
- To generate AI-powered agricultural analysis and recommendations
- To display maps and spatial data for your farms
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
- To communicate with you about your account or service updates
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with third-party services only as described in Section 2, and only to the extent necessary to provide the service. Farm data is isolated per organisation and is not shared between organisations.
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including row-level security policies, encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), and organisation-based data isolation. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data by contacting us at the email address below. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data and farm data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
